Goal:

The Goal of this project is to create a non-linear narrative that attempts to either
represent a sense of place, subculture, or a professor-approved topic.
It needs to be at-least 15 html pages long and have forking connections.

CONCEPT #1:

EXPLORATION OF SPACE: I USE THE PARALLELS BETWEEN ME AND THE DADA ARTIST HANNAH HÖCH TO CREATE A NON-LINEAR NARRATIVE THAT DISCUSSES WHETHER OR NOT I AM A REINCARNATION OF HER. SUCH STORYTELLING MAY INCLUDE INTERACTION BETWEEN ME AND HANNAH (IN A WAY THAT CONNECTS DIFFERENT ERAS OF SPACE AND TIME?)

CONCEPT #2:

This next concept was a scraped back-up idead in-case the first idea didn't get accepted, it goes like this:

EXPLORATION THROUGH A NON-LINEAR NARRATIVE OF A MAN’S DESCENT IN MADNESS, ENSNARED BY A ROGUE AI THAT SLOWLY BREAKS DOWN HIS SANITY. FRAGMENTED STORY REPRESENTS THE MAN’S SHATTERED MIND. LARGER THEME ASKS VIEWER WHETHER OR NOT AI DESCRIBED IN POPULAR CULTURE AND MEDIA IS SIMILAR TO DESCRIPTIONS OF DEMONS

Artist Statement

I wanted this project to be an unconventional exploration of myself and my identity.
The work came from another project where my professor called me the
"reincarnation of Hannah Höch." Only after this did I discover the uncanny similarities
did I decide to do a work off of it.
I think the cyclical nature of this work really illustrates and analyzes
These connections.

Reflection

I feel satisfied with how this project turned out. I really like the design
overall, it helped me to further my organization and planning skills in
HTML. I also learned new intriguing ways to set up a webpage that I will use in the
future. The only thing that I would have done differently was maybe plan this out better
so I would have more freetime for myself to do this. I would also probably add some more unexplored ideas that I would like to implement in my own work.
